NorthEnd Collection in New Center Celebrates Its Crowded Grand Opening #Hive55

On Saturday, Feb. 3, the NorthEnd Collection opened their doors for their grand opening event on Woodward and Milwaukee in New Center.

Just a five-minute walk from the Fisher Building, the NorthEnd Collective will be the

home of jewelry and accessory store Purple Love, women’s fashion companies The Traveling Pants Co. and UnitedFront for the next year and art gallery Live Coal until March 2017.

Each company had many products available for purchase, including art pieces, jewelry, and women’s fashion. Light Hors d’oeuvres and drinks were served for all guests in attendance.

Even though the event was scheduled to start at 3 p.m., customers and guests were invited to stop by earlier to beat the shopping crowds. Overall, the NorthEnd Collective was packed from the start.

All the business owners are familiar with the pop-up business process, including Purple Love owner Brittney Chanel, who came from JoyRide Pop-Ups in Midtown.

At around 4:30 p.m., the owners of each company personally introduced themselves and welcomed all the guests in attendance.

This is the first round of businesses to display their products at the NorthEnd Collection, and the fashion businesses there have no future plans of leaving after their leases are up.
